My Story

Stella is a professional visual artist, creative strategist, and gallery collaborator specializing in fine art and environmental visual design.

A graduate of the studio arts program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Stella holds a Bachelor's degree in Art, which provides her with a strong foundation in creative practice, paired with a specialized certificate in Business. This unique combination of discipline, artistic vision, and entrepreneurial training allows her to approach creative projects with both high-level artistic integrity and practical business acumen.

Her portfolio represents a dedicated synthesis of technical skill and academic learning. She applies these foundational capabilities to her deep appreciation for art history and personal narrative, creating works that invite viewers to step into rich visual stories.

Over time, Stella's passion has expanded into the gallery environment, where she has discovered a profound love for working closely with people and helping fellow artists articulate and share their own narratives.

Now based in the thriving creative community of Asheville, North Carolina, Stella aims to grow within this dynamic local landscape and learn from the region's rich network of local artists. By balancing her active creative practice with professional management skills, she is uniquely positioned to collaborate with local galleries, designers, and private collectors. Her goal is to facilitate meaningful artistic connections and deliver impactful, high-quality visual installations that elevate spaces and resonate with audiences on both an aesthetic and strategic level.

Active in the local art community, Stella serves as a Curatorial Intern in Exhibition Preparation and Collections at the Asheville Art Museum. In this role, she collaborates with the curatorial and registration teams to gain hands-on experience in collections management, condition reporting, record-keeping, and the research, logistics, and physical installation of upcoming museum exhibitions.

When she is not in the studio or collaborating within the art community, Stella enjoys exploring the beautiful mountain trails with her dog, diving into a good book, spending time with her friends, or working at the pottery wheel.
